Welcome to Marcelo Mota’s website for the 2009 IEEE Canada Election

Having been an active, engaged IEEE member for over 20 years fully accepting and exceeding the responsibilities assigned to me at local/section (Bahia and Toronto), regional (R7 and R9) and Board (MGA, PSPB, EAB) levels, and with the encouragement of several key senior members of both IEEE Toronto Section and IEEE Canada, I have decided to put my name forward as a candidate for the position of IEEE Canada 2010-2011 Director Elect in the Institute's upcoming elections.

This website has been put together to give you - a member of IEEE Canada - the chance to get to know me better and to learn more about my past volunteer work with IEEE as well as my platform for working with you and other fellow volunteers to help lead IEEE Canada in the next few years.
